FP-204 fluoroethylene propylene (FEP) heat-shrinkable tube.
Smooth wear-resistant tube for special industrial application. Chemical resistance is identical to PTFE and is inert to most industrial chemicals and solvents. Resistant to ultraviolet radiation.
Application: Heat-shrinkable tube FP-204 is widely used in aerospace and transportation engineering, electronics, chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing and food processing. FP-204 tube provides electrical insulation at high temperatures even in alkaline environments. The strength properties of fluoroethylene propylene allow the tube to be used as mechanical protection for various shafts and rollers. The material is non-toxic and does not cause allergies, biocompatible with human tissues and liquids, for that reason FP-204 tube is used for various medical purposes - as a shell for medical devices, incl. endoscopes, catheters, etc. In geology, an ideally transparent, wear-resistant FEP tube is used for fixing, transporting and storing cores.
Supplied in natural transparent color, other colors are possible upon request.
Storage: in clean, dry rooms in the supplier's packaging or in cardboard boxes, at relative humidity of up to 70%, at temperatures from -10°C to +50°C, avoiding sudden temperature changes and exposure to direct sunlight. The distance to any heating sources should be at least 1 meter (without exceeding the maximum storage temperature). Storage conditions should exclude the influence of aggressive medium: acids, alkalis, fuels and lubricants, solvents, etc.
Packing specification: Tube is supplied in pieces of 1.22m, packed in cartoon tubes, boxes, in packaging film.
Certification: Not subject to mandatory certification
