Heat-shrinkable wire crimp connector SWCC with butt of tin alloy point soldering and hot-melt glue sealing rings
Brief description: Heat-shrinkable wire crimp connector with butt of point soldering is made by polyolefin transparent composition extrusion with melting solder ring from tin alloy inside and color sealing and marking rings of hot-melt glue at the edges of crimp.
Application: Heat-shrinkable wire crimp connectors SWCC are used for fast, reliable, static connection of metal, mainly copper multiwire connectors (wires) end-to-end without using of soldering tool. It is convenient instrument for fast wire connection under long term influence of the outer humid environment. Used for wire connection and protection of connection butt at the same time. In process of mounting crimp is heated which causes simultaneous shrink of cover and melting of the solder ring that solders connectors ends. Melting and distribution of hot-melting glue with color lines from both sides of the crimp reliably seals the connection butt. Transparent cover of the crimp allows easy control of quality of wire soldering place. Crimps are used up to voltage 600kV included. For crimps SWCC assembling special instrument is not needed — any heating device that able to heat place of joint to +175°C is enough (industrial electric fan, gas heater etc.). Connection of the wires with crimps is non-demountable, crimps are for one-time usage and can’t be repeatedly assembled. Disassembling is possible by mechanic taking off the outer cover and repeated heating of connection butt to solder melting. Crimps SWCC have colorful marking of hot-melting rings depending of wire core for which they are used that makes easy choice of crimp during connections mounting.
Crimps can be widely used in automobile industry in assembling and reparation works with low voltage equipment (surveillance, house intercom, fire alarm, audio equipment, wire connection, sensor and devices connection to the electricity network etc), for connection / elongation / branching, that are not stretched regularly.
Caution: crimps SWCC are not suitable for connection of aluminum wires as under usual condition aluminum is not soldered by tin wire.
Package: Crimps are supplied in plastic bags per 50pcs and 100pcs (depending of diameter). Bags can be packed into carton boxes.
Storage: in clean, dry rooms in the supplier's packaging or in cardboard boxes, at a relative humidity of up to 70%, at temperatures from -10 ° C to +50 ° C, avoiding sudden temperature changes and exposure to direct sunlight. The distance to any heating sources should be at least 1 meter (without exceeding the maximum storage temperature). Storage conditions should exclude the influence of aggressive medium: acids, alkalis, fuels and lubricants, solvents, etc. Crimps with hot-melting glue stripes require storage in thick hermetical bags to avoid dust and dirt inclusions of different origin. Under keeping storage conditions, shelf life not less than 2 years from shipment date.
Certification: Not subject to mandatory certification.
