DWFP dual wall fluor polymer high temperature PTFE-FEP heat-shrinkable tube.

Special fluor polymer high temperature dual layer flame retardant hydrophobic heat-shrinkable tube with peculiar chemical resistance. Outer layer is made from polytetrafluorethylene (fluoroplastic-4, PTFE) and inner layer from fluorinated ethylene propylene (fluoroplastic-4MB, FEP).

Application: Special fluor polymer heat shrinkable tubes DWFP are aimed to use in conditions of simultaneous effect of aggressive environment and extremely high temperatures providing chemical, mechanical and electrical protection of different electromechanical parts, indicators and components in condition of contact with aggressive chemical substances and big temperature differences. Highly resistant to chemical impact (acids, alkali, hydrocarbon and ketone solvents, fuels and lubricants: kerosene, gasoline, diesel fuel, lubricating oils etc.) including in high temperature up to +260°С and high pressure. PTFE-FEP differs from standard heat shrinkable tubes by the presence of an additional inner layer of fluoroethylene propylene (FEP) which acts as a high-temperature hot-melt adhesive (similar to heat-shrinkable adhesive tubes). When heated during shrinkage, the inner FEP layer melts, filling the voids and PTFE layer presses FEP melt to the surface of the object. After cooling both layers completely glue to each other ensuring sealing and moisture resistance of the outer cover. Has low coefficient of sliding fracture. Tubes are recommended to use in medical, chemical, oil and gas industry, aerospace, military, automotive, mining and other fields of industry with high fire safety, chemical resistance requirements and high temperature impact. Tubes PTFE-FEP are inert to human and animal tissues at normal temperatures, are amenable to sterilization by high temperature, ethylene oxide, and gamma treatment.

Storage: in clean, dry rooms in the supplier's packaging or in cardboard boxes, at relative humidity of up to 70%, at temperatures from -10°C to +50°C, avoiding sudden temperature changes and exposure to direct sunlight. The distance to any heating sources should be at least 1 meter (without exceeding the maximum storage temperature). Storage conditions should exclude the influence of aggressive medium: acids, alkalis, fuels and lubricants, solvents, etc.

Packing specification:  Tube is supplied in pieces of 1,22m/pc, packed in cartoon tubes, boxes, in packaging film.

Certification: Not subject to mandatory certification
