Busbar Insolation Cover BIC.
Brief description: BIC type covers are special reusable device with fastening on releasable conical clips for easy and quick access to the busbar connection.
Application: Used for protection and isolation of main busbars mounted connections of any complexity where impossible to use heat-shrinkable tubes.
Standard design: covers for insulation of overlapping busbar connections of I, L, T types. Possible production of non-standard covers for protection of complex busbar connections on support isolators, isolation of open sections of cable lug connections and contact clips to transformers, roll-out elements and other designs according to the customer drafts.
Main advantages of BIC:
- increased resistance of the material;
- reliable insolation of the conductive elements;
- resistance to moisture and ultraviolet radiation;
- wide range of operational temperatures;
- easy to install and remove;
- quick access to busbar connection (releasable clip);
- large selection of sizes and colors
Storage: in clean, dry rooms in the supplier's packaging or in cardboard boxes, at a relative humidity of up to 70%, at temperatures from -10°C to +50°C, avoiding sudden temperature changes and exposure to direct sunlight. The distance to any heating sources should be at least 1 meter (without exceeding the maximum storage temperature). Storage conditions should exclude the influence of aggressive substances: acids, alkalis, fuels and lubricants, solvents, etc.
Certification: Not subject to mandatory certification
