Short product description: tube EPDM - electro isolation material for reliable, fast, safe mounting, power cables up to 35kV reconstruction and repair. Cold shrink tube CSTE is widely used on the objects with high fire-safety requirements where can’t be used heating or open fire. Used as a part of cold shrink cable accessories for 1-35kV.
Usage:
- Mounting of termination and joint accessories of power cables up to 35kV, repair of flexible shielded cables;
- Mechanical protection and hydro isolation of high voltage connections and contacts with air isolation, for example, lugs of power cables or connected to during connection to busbar.
- Initial isolation of joints of all wires and cables with homogeneous isolation from dielectric (resin and plastic), working under voltage. Underground and submerged cables. For indoor and outdoor works.
- Geometrization and initial electro isolation of big sizes of coaxial cable (feeder) and connectors;
- Reconstruction of cable coating, isolation and sealing of wires and cables, places of connection of contact clips, core end sleeves, lugs, make connectors and places of wire soldering;
